Make yourself at Home.
The Sidings has everything you’ll need for a relaxing break.
The Sidings
The accommodation is spacious, airy and modern, the three bedrooms clean and comfortable. There are lots of great places to eat out in the local area but if you feel like staying in for dinner, you’ll find everything you need in the large dining kitchen. And for a quiet night in on a chilly evening, what could be better than relaxing in the cosy living room in front of a roaring fire in our reclaimed Victorian fireplace?
On warmer evenings, why not make the most of the sunshine with a glass of wine in the cottage’s private garden? The garden catches the sun from morning until night allowing you to enjoy al fresco dining late into the evening.
Location
The Siding’s location couldn’t be any better. We’re right on the outskirts of beautiful Plockton so you’ll be able to enjoy the dramatic views in peace and quiet while knowing that just a short walk will take you to the heart of the village and all of the local facilities including the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants (we recommend trying some fresh seafood, it’s out of this world!) We’re also ideally located for public transport – the cottage is situated alongside Plockton Railway Station on the famous Kyle Line, arguably one of the most scenic rail lines in the world.
A warm welcome
We know the last thing you want to do when you reach your holiday destination is trail around the supermarket so our welcome basket will be waiting for you upon your arrival and contains some essentials to help you get settled. Wine counts as an essential, right?
Basket contents: Bread, milk, butter, bottle of wine, biscuits, shortbread, crisps, fresh coffee, local jam, oatcakes.
